Use of Regrind
Grilamid TR products are thermoplastic materials which means that reject material as well as sprues and runners can be reprocessed. The following points should be observed:
- Moisture absorption of regrind
- Dust particles and particle size distribution of regrind
- Contamination with foreign materials, dust, oil, etc.
- Percentage addition of regrind
- Colour variations possible
- Reduction of mechanical properties possible
Special care must be taken when adding regrind during processing.
For high quality technical parts we recommend to use only virgin material.
